I wasn’t ready when I launched my jewelry business.
Or when I taught my first yoga class.
I wasn’t even ready to start something as simple as a 30-day photo challenge, snapping one photo a day.
But I started anyway.
I used to believe that readiness would feel like a green light — clarity, confidence, the perfect plan. But it never really comes that way.
The truth is… we rarely feel ready for the things that truly matter.
The first time I stood in front of a yoga class, my voice was shaky and my heart was pounding.
The first time I hit “publish” on my website, I wondered if anyone would care — or if I was just wasting my time.
But I’ve learned this — confidence doesn’t show up before the leap. It shows up because of the leap.
Every time I choose to begin — messy, imperfect, unsure — something shifts. I remind myself that starting isn’t about waiting for certainty. It’s about trusting that the next step will reveal itself once you move.
The photos don’t have to be perfect.
The business doesn’t have to be flawless.
The next chapter doesn’t need to be fully mapped out.
You just have to begin.
So if you’ve been waiting — for the right moment, for the perfect plan, for the fear to go away — consider this your permission to let go of waiting.
Start.
Messy.
Unready.
Unpolished.
But start anyway.
Because the magic isn’t in feeling ready.
The magic is in showing up anyway.
